VISION

VISION

We're pleased to be featured in VISION, a Chinese design publication that has thoughtfully explored our approach to interactive art. The article captures our focus on creating physical experiences that prioritize human connection over digital complexity. The publication highlighted our philosophy of making 'real' things—tangible encounters that invite people to be present and engage with one another. What particularly resonated with us was the magazine's reference to the expression 一期一会 (yī qī yī huì)—'one time, one meeting'—which originates from Japanese tea ceremony culture. This concept of treasuring unrepeatable moments aligns well with how we think about our installations like Bloomlight and Chairwave. The article's focus on our 'slowtech' approach reflects our belief that the most effective technology brings people together rather than isolating them. The feature appeared in VISION Magazine's recent design issue.
