City Gazing at Lux Helsinki

City Gazing at Lux Helsinki

At this year's Lux Helsinki festival, visitors have the opportunity to embark on a mesmerizing journey through time and space with 'City Gazing Helsinki.' This captivating installation offers a unique artistic impression of Helsinki's development over the past century, complemented by the music of Turkish composer Ertan Çetin. 'City Gazing Helsinki' floats gracefully in the sky, allowing viewers to witness the city from an entirely new perspective. From this vantage point, Helsinki's light footprint transforms into a breathtaking tapestry of architectural evolution and urban history. In its silent beauty, the installation draws attention to the delicate balance of life on Earth. Art Review previously described City Gazing as 'Quietly stunning' when it graced Riyadh. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Toyota Finland for their generous support. Lux Helsinki runs until the 7th of January 2024.
