VOUW Lights up Brussels with Chairwave and Bloomlight

This January, VOUW brought its innovative designs to Bright Brussels 2024, illuminating the heart of Belgium's capital with its Chairwave and Bloomlight installations. From January 15th to 18th, the event drew over 500,000 spectators, setting a new attendance record. Located at the majestic Palais des Académies, five Bloomlights cast their enchanting glow over the park. Nearby, in King Leopold Park, an array of 11 Chairwave seats curved gracefully. This installation marked a first with its curved setup. Bright Brussels 2024 highlighted 'Europe and its values,' coinciding with Belgium's presidency of the Council of the European Union. Mingus Vogel, co-founder of VOUW, was featured in a prime-time interview on Belgian news TV (VRT1), where he discussed the impact and design philosophy behind Chairwave.
